Neither of them called me today. No text messages. Nothing. I'm a little frustrated and annoyed but I find I'm not as disappointed as I would normally expect. I suppose it helps that I'm not very attached to either of them and this entire situation is creating a little too much drama in my life right now. Anyway, back to House while the laundry is in the dryer. At least House is predictable. I just wish he and Cutty would get it on already!
Oh yeah, I also saw an awesome movie today. It's called Slumdog Millionnaire. You should see it.

I'm guessin you're not stressin 'cuz you know at least one of them is bound to call...
Awww, I hate it when they don't call. But chance are they're just playing their own version of "the game" and are biding time, making you suffer just a tiny bit on purpose. I hate that there are dynamics like this to the dating scenario but, sadly, there are. Now do as I say and not as I do...turn off that cell phone for 24 hours. No checking for messages, text, or otherwise. You'll feel less oppressed, less jumpy. Make them work for you affection a little. Be mysteriously unavailable. There's nothing hotter.
GH, you were right on the money. One of the upsides to dating friends of friends is that you can't just disappear because you're bound to bump into them sooner rather than later.
CCE, I have a pretty limited window and I don't think it's smart to play hard to get in this particular situation because that could backfire in a big way given the tightness of this circle of friends. I know that one of them is probably better for me and the only way I can figure that out is to get to know them both as friends. So I'm going to treat them both the way I would treat a friend and I'm trying to give them the same number of chances and the same level of attention.
I also accept that neither of them might be right for me and the sooner I can figure that out, the sooner I can move on. In that scenario, I'm hoping that I can remain friends with one or both in the long-term. So, no games on my end :) Just sensible, independent, courteous, respectful me. If that's not okay, I'm better off without :)
