I'd hire a smashingly gorgeous stripper or escort to take me.
In theory, that would be fine but there are two problems. First, I'm coordinating the wedding so won't even have time to entertain a date. Second, the bride and groom and most guests are very close friends and would see through that in a heart beat. I actually prefer to attend weddings solo anyway. It's just easier, not to mention cheaper as I only have to cover my meal and not my date's portion! But thanks for the suggestion.
